Trainee Seismic Observer - Jakarta Raya

Responsibilities

Operate, maintain and are responsible for the expensive electronic equipment used to record seismic signals
Perform daily and monthly instrument tests, and ensure all equipment meets tolerance specifications
Troubleshoot problems and repair recording equipment
Document recording operations
Ensure the quality of recorded data at the field level
Supervise the work of line truck drivers and as many as thirty helpers as they prepare areas for seismic tests.

Requirements

Bachelor degree (S1), majoring in Geophysics (GPA min 2,8 scale of 4.00)
Maximum 25 years old
Fresh graduates/Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply
Good Attitude, hard working and team player
Active English and MS Office familiarity are a must
Interest in working outdoors (in some cases, in isolated locations) and using various forms of wilderness transportation
Able to do a lot of traveling and often spend extended periods of time away from home, living and working in close contact with a limited number of people.
